Want to make amazing pulled pork with almost no work? This slow cooker recipe is what you need. With just a few simple ingredients and about 10 minutes of prep, you get incredibly tender and juicy pork that's perfect for sandwiches, tacos, or just eating with a fork. But this isn't your typical BBQ pork. We toss it in a sweet and spicy ghost pepper blueberry sauce that makes it totally unique and addictive. Just set it, forget it, and get ready for some serious flavor.
There's something magical about a slow cooker. You toss a few things in, walk away for the day, and come back to a perfectly cooked, incredibly tender meal. This pulled pork recipe is the ultimate example of that magic. The base is as simple as it gets: a pork shoulder cooked low and slow with onions, garlic, and beer until it completely falls apart. The whole house will smell amazing while it cooks. But the real story starts after the pork is shredded. This is where we take it from a great, standard pulled pork to something you'll be thinking about for weeks. We skip the typical smoky BBQ sauce and go for something much more interesting. You toss the rich, savory pork with an entire bottle of our Bravado Spice Ghost Pepper & Blueberry Hot Sauce. It might sound wild, but it's a perfect match. You get the sweet, fruity flavor of blueberries upfront, which is a classic pairing with rich pork. Then, the deep, creeping heat of the ghost pepper kicks in, cutting through the richness and adding a layer of exciting, complex fire. It’s sweet, savory, and spicy all at once. This spicy blueberry pulled pork is the kind of recipe that makes you look like a culinary genius, but only you will know how ridiculously easy it was.

Serve immediately.
Enjoy!
Recipe Note
- Serving Ideas: This is amazing on a simple brioche bun, but don't stop there. Use it for tacos and top it with a fresh pineapple or mango slaw—the tropical fruit is an amazing contrast to the blueberry and ghost pepper. You could also pile it on top of nachos or mac and cheese.
- No Beer? If you'd rather not use beer, you can easily swap it for chicken broth, beef broth, or even apple cider, which would add another nice layer of fruity flavor.
