Aka Miso Ghost-Reaper Hot Sauce - Hot Ones Season 10

I’m not usually impressed by most hot sauces. My bf and I are always looking for that HOT HOT FLAME SAUCE and we found it with this one. If you want for a torturous spice to clear your sinuses this is it. We bought 3 different bottles and this was by far the spiciest. Next spiciest being the AKA MISO which was less spicy but still had a really good kick and a different flavor altogether, delicious. And finally the BLACK GARLIC which has another flavor as well, more smoky. It was a nice level, definitely the least intense. Would recommend all 3. Can’t wait to try the rest of the sauces this company makes.

This Bravado Spice Aka Miso Ghost Reaper Hot Sauce is fire. I love me some miso and some hot sauce, so being that both were combined into one was definitely a must try for me. Boy this thing is fire. I dipped chicken wings in this thing and literally felt like fire ants on my lips and tongue. Makes me wonder how the people on the show "Hot Ones" manage to eat an entire wing in these sauces.I definitely recommend starting off with just a little, and gradually work your way with more as you go or can handle.Overall, great sauce that will probably take me a long time to finish. Otherwise, my other end will hate me for it.

I want to start off by saying this is one of the best hot sauces I have ever had. There is no sacrifice to heat, yet the flavor is all there! Absolutely killer product, along with the other Bravado products I have tried, you can’t go wrong with any of them. Truly great!

Great flavor but takes over any dish I use it in. I use it sparingly and supplement with miso paste.

It's great with quality ingredients

This stuff does pack quite a wallop of heat coming from the Ghost Pepper & Carolina Reaper peppers (first 2 ingredients).This also has rice wine vinegar, Ala Miso, Soy Sauce, Sesame Oil, Togarashi & salt.Although this 5 Oz bottle states there are 28 servings (at only 5 calories), I think for many this is more like 280 servings.There is some flavor hiding under these hot peppers. Mixes well with many foods, soups or sauces to then spread over your wings, steaks or whatever needs that hot hot hot kick to enhance or cover up.Word of caution, if you get any of this on your hands, DON'T rub your eyes, inside of your nose or any other sensitive areas else you will be in agony. A good hands washing is paramount.If you think a jalapeno is too hot, then this is not for you.Shake well and enjoy!

Very unique. Perfect for any Asian food. I use it with my soy sauce. You can take and smell the sesame seed oil once you open the bottle up.

i adore this hotsauce. it is and will always be my favorite. its a perfect amount of incredible spice, and a perfect amount of flavor. add to everything!

I consideryself a hot sauce afficianado and keep on average 40-50 different hot sauces in my condomint fridge. Yes, a condomint fridge... This is when you know you have a sauce addiction. I am in love with this sauce and use it for one thing. When I finish my chop steak in a cast iron with teriyaki rub butter I add a few hearty splashes of this in with it and serve. It's absolutely incredible and the miso flavor works perfectly. Lots of heat too... A good heat! Highly recommend!

This is another Bravado offering that I can't say I've had anything quite like. There is a strong, tasty miso flavor but there is also an extreme spice level to it. This is not for the faint-hearted! Try it with the teriyaki recipe on this site and you won't regret it.

Tasty! My favorite Bravado sauce - though it's not one I'd use on everything. I was also a big fan of the black garlic and carolina reaper sauce.That said... and I can't review them because I spent my one review on this sauce... but I did not like the Ancho Masala or the Garlic Arbul Scorpion. Both were fairly hot, but I simply was not a fan of the flavor of either. Both were very similar in flavor. They were quite smokey, which I normally like, but it didn't seem to have much else going for it flavor wise. If you're looking for an all-around sauce, I'd go black garlic and carolina reaper. If you're looking for a tasty ghost pepper sauce in particular, the AKA Miso is the best I've had.

I keep a few bottles of Torchbearer sauces in the pantry - particularly their Garlic Reaper, so I'm no stranger to unfathomably HOT hot sauce. I use them every day, and I basically have no taste buds left at this point (lol) since I willingly burned them all off.Anyway, I wanted to try something different, and this aka miso sauce looked promising. I'm generally very wary to try any new ones because they're either never spicy enough for me or the flavor is just blah. Typically, both.Gotta say: this Bravado sauce - actually, the Black Garlic one, too - is AMAZING. PERFECTION. FLAVORFUL AF. I STAN. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!Legit just bought another bottle of the Aka Miso. Umami explosion all up in my mouth. Usually, with sauces this hot, all you get is heat and no flavor. But this? I'm obsessed, and as much as I adore my Torchbearer Garlic Reaper, it doesn't hold a candle nor a torch to this stuff.

I'm not the guy who just eats carllolina reapers or scorpion peppers. Having said that me and my buddies recently have been trying out different hot sauces for cookouts, wings etc. We had a pretty myopic outlook until my Costa Rican buddy picked up some from this company. He got the blueberry ghostpepper which I was super anxious to try (I was let down, very watery blueberry flavor goes away almost immediately and the heat is closet to jalapeño maybe alightly hotter) the Aka Miso (sweet Jesus its hot like lips numb, mouth on fire, eye watering spice/burn. He pulled this one out and after trying I immediately ordered u get the hint of smoked garlic and peppers which I find go really well together and then the HEAT..... Not spice/burn (there is spice to it but not to the level of the aka miso) but HEAT its very warming which is waht I prefer this is the sauce that DOSENT kill your mouth but your foreheads sweating, your sinuses are clear and u keep eating more of it which is exactly what I was looking for! Definitely keeping this as one of my go to's in the cupboard!!!

I really liked this unique sauce. Bravado Spice Aka Miso Ghost Reaper Hot Sauce is not a hot sauce for all applications, though, as its unique flavor will quickly become the dominant flavor in many dishes. I still give it 5 stars because what I want to use it for is wings. I always use Franks Original Hot Sauce as the base for all my wing sauces and then adjust the flavor with different high-heat hot sauces. I really like it on over-easy eggs too.

Once I got done with the fire hiccups, I read the fine print and see that this has a heat of 116,000 scoville (?) units… which means this is aroud a hundred times hotter than sriracha-type sauce.The taste actually is good… the initial Miso hit is nice, before you forget about everything but your tortured tissues.I’d say that this small bottle should go a long way… and in moderation. That means, for me, that the Miso taste is gonna be diluted by how little of this I’ll use at a time, not being a career masochist.Ghost Reaper, indeed.But this is what it says it is, so it gets 5 stars, 5 flames, or whatever..

While this Bravado Spice Aka Miso Ghost Reaper Hot Sauce isn't for the feint of heart, if you add a dab of this to your cooking, it makes certain dishes taste absolutely delicious. Being as it does have ghost pepper in it, you will indeed hurt from the heat if you add too much of it - but it actually has other amazing and tasty ingredients in it that makes it a really nice hot sauce to add to dishes that require heat in them.Being as tiny bit goes a really long way, this will also last quite a while in comparison to other hot sauces. We LOVE spicy food and enjoy the heat this adds when used very sparingly, so it gets two thumbs up from us - but watch out with this one, as it is truly HOT! It goes well beyond the normal "hot" sauces out there.

I love the idea of a hot sauce made with miso and similar ingredients. This particular blend using extremely hot pepper so a tiny drop goes a LONG way. It's every bit as hot as you would expect from ghost and reaper peppers. I'd love to see the miso base blended with milder peppers so I could use more and get more umami flavor.Ingredients:Ghost Pepper,Carolina Reaper,Rice Wine Vinegar,Aka Miso,Soy Sauce,Sesame Oil,Togarashi,Salt.Hot and tasty.

I’ve tried a few Bravado hot sauces before, but neither of their super hots (Black Garlic and AKA Miso.) When I saw AKA Miso was available on Amazon I grabbed a bottle and have really enjoyed it so far!The consistency is in the thick side, which is great because it helps make sure you don’t dump half the bottle out on your plate! It has a really rich, earthy umami flavor from the miso, which makes it more unusual than the other hot sauces in my fridge. And it’s got some HEAT!So far, I’ve added it to a yolk mix for hard boiled eggs, soy sauce for a dumpling dipping sauce, and a drop or two directly into both brown rice and to a spicy black bean dish. Haven’t been disappointed yet!
