Instructions

  1. Crisp the Prosciutto: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lay the prosciutto slices flat on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes until they shrink and become crispy. Remove from the oven, let them cool, and break them into small shards.
  2. Prep the Filling: Pop the 6 cooked egg yolks into a mixing bowl and mash them with a fork until they are completely fine and dry. This prevents any lumps in your final filling.
  3. Mix: Add the mayonnaise, Serrano & Basil hot sauce, garlic powder, and salt to the yolks. Stir thoroughly until it forms a smooth, thick paste that will hold its shape.
  4. Fill and Garnish: Spoon or pipe the filling back into the 12 egg white halves.
  5. The Finish: Top each deviled egg with a shard of crispy prosciutto, a small parsley leaf, and a generous grating of fresh Parmesan cheese. Finish the plate with a final drizzle of Serrano & Basil hot sauce right over the top.

Recipe Notes

If you want to completely elevate a classic party appetizer, these Spicy Serrano & Prosciutto Deviled Eggs hit all the right notes. By incorporating Bravado Spice Serrano & Basil Hot Sauce directly into the rich yolk filling, you get a bright, herbaceous heat that cuts perfectly through the heavy mayonnaise base.

The real magic is in the garnish. Swapping out the traditional paprika for a shard of crispy, oven-baked prosciutto and freshly grated Parmesan cheese gives these deviled eggs a high-end, Italian-inspired flavor profile with a massive crunch. Finished with a fresh parsley leaf and an extra drizzle of the orange Serrano & Basil sauce, they look incredible on a platter and pack a perfectly balanced, savory punch. Easy to make and visually vibrant, this is the ultimate spicy appetizer recipe for your next tailgate, holiday party, or weekend cookout.
